Europe's only floodlit course

Carya Golf is the first classic, heathland style golf course to be built on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast. Designed by Thomson Perrett & Lobb, the international golf course architecture practice founded by five times Open Champion Peter Thomson, it is a championship golf course set on undulating sand hills and cutting through mature pine and eucalyptus forest, at the heart of Turkey’s golf coast. Peter Thomson, said “this is an exceptional piece of land on which to build a golf course. It is reminiscent of the famous Surrey heathland courses near London that I rate among the world’s best and which I was fortunate to enjoy much success on in my playing days. I am very excited about the prospect of TPL creating a classic, traditional style course in Turkey”. Carya is a classic course, unique to the region, and featuring naturally cultivated heather. Grown in an extensive nursery on site, Carya’s heather shapes define the course into a truly magnificent spectacle. The course is a demanding test of golfing strategy with free flowing holes that run between pine and eucalyptus trees and across a dramatic sand ridge. Carya Golf Course also boasts a spectacular new clubhouse and state-of-the-art driving range.

Floodlit

The Carya Golf Course is the first floodlit golf course in Europe and is one of the few golf clubs to host 18-hole international championship tournaments in Turkey. It has been listed as one of the “top 100 golf clubs in the world”.

130m PUTTING GREEN

The Golf Academy consists of 300 + meters driving range, a special 130 meters long putting green, a unique state of the art driving range building including two teaching studios.

Spectacular views of the sea and mountains

The Cullinan Golf Club presents its newly opened Aspendos Golf Course, this course which was opened in February 2022 will excite golfers of any level. Turkey has proved year after year that it is one of the top golfing destinations around the globe, and The Cullinan Golf Club is helping maintain this reputation to the highest degree. The ever popular Cullinan Golf Club is set upon an impressive landscape allowing golfers to be in constant awe of its beauty. The course features a 18 hole par 72 setup, with tee locations to challenge some all levels of golfer. The course is surrounded by tall Pine Trees which adds to Aspendos’s charm, but this means accuracy is required to have a solid score on the card by the end of the 18 holes.

Lakes, dunes, and rivers are some of the course’s many challenges

The golf course is nestled in between the coast and the Besgoz River, so the architects worked hard to continue the water theme throughout the course. Water hazards are a defining feature of nearly half of the holes here in the form of huge lakes and ponds. Yet players can enjoy the best of both worlds as there is a real mixture of parkland and tree lined fairways, with three or four holes having a links feel to them. Some of the best views across the golf course can be appreciated at the par-four 12th hole on the Mediterranean loop. This hole is set running directly along the coast with views spanning right across the Mediterranean. Golfers must refrain from becoming too distracted, because this hole is widely considered to be among some of the most difficult on the golf course. Golfers must manoeuvre their shot around the out of bounds area lining the right side of the fairway and a pine tree on the left side in order to reach the green.

First Golf Club in Belek, Antalya, Turkey.

This is a truly magnificent course, which is routed thoughtfully across gently rolling terrain and through mature pine and eucalyptus trees. The snow-capped Taurus Mountains provide a provocative backdrop especially as the course is bathed in hot sunshine for the vast majority of the year. The 18 hole Championship Course, designed by Ryder Cup Player David Feherty and Seniors Tour Player David Jones, has played host to the PGA European Turkish Seniors Open in 1996 and 1997.

40 Bay DRIVING RANGE

Opening in November 1994, the National Golf Club acts as the first Golf Club in Belek, Antalya, Turkey. It is a 27-hole Championship Course, complete with a 40 bay driving range, 2 chipping and putting greens as well as practice bunkers.

European senior open

Played host to the PGA European Turkish Seniors Open in 1996 and The National is the first golf course in Turkey which has been developed with the guidance and in accordance with the standards determined by European PGA

David Feherty has ensured no two holes are similar here. It is carved through a forest of eucalyptus and pine trees with the back of the snow capped Taurus mountains and an abundance of natural lakes, the National will test players of all abilities.

Do I need to be Muslim?

Absolutely not! All MGA events are open to everyone from all backgrounds regardless of religion, ethnicity or nationality. MGA events are held upon basic Islamic values hence there will be no alcohol or gambling involved, and prayer arrangements will be made. We ask all our travellers to respect these guidelines.

Can I book with my friends?

Yes, absolutely! We encourage you to book with friends/family and we will even help facilitate playing groups where you can play with who you want.

What is the luggage allowance?

How will the 4x balls be determined?

You will be drawn with players who have a similar handicap to yours. This is to create a competitive environment but also a great chance to meet & network with players of similar ability and test yourself against others.

What course do I play on which day?

Course itinerary and playing schedule for both days will be confirmed closer to the trip. However we will be playing, The Aspendos, Olympos, Carya (Day & Night) & The National.

Are buggies included?

No, there are not buggies included in the price. These will be charged extra at the resort.

Will there be competitions in Belek?

The trip has been designed with your comfort & enjoyment in mind. There will be daily competitions available and for those who do not wish to compete do not have to. However, there will be some great prizes available to win!

Can I include non-golfers in my package?

Yes, you can book a trip with non-golfers. Please make a note on the enquiry form, alternatively inform your Sales Consultant prior to booking.

Are flights included in my package?
