LIV Golf and the Muslim Golf Association are excited to announce a groundbreaking collaboration to offer Muslim youth (16 - 24) an exceptional opportunity to gain real-life work experience in the dynamic world of golf. This exclusive program is designed to inspire and equip young Muslim individuals with the skills and insights needed to thrive in the golf industry. The Fairway Futures program, a global volunteer and mentorship initiative by LIV Golf, is tailored to provide young people from diverse backgrounds with hands-on experience in golf events. This program is now uniquely extended to Muslim youth through our partnership with MGA. All participants have the opportunity to spend two event days working behind the scenes with LIV Golf, gaining an up-close and personal experience of what a career in golf can look like. This is a fabulous and unique opportunity for young Muslim talent to gain exposure to an industry they may not have considered before. Participants will be introduced to career paths they might not have considered, with a special focus on the golf industry. This programe is designed for young muslim aged between 16-24, male/female.

Industry Exposure:

2x Single Day Event Tickets

Participants should be available for 2 days of the event and get tickets for the 3rd day. They will gain experience from both a professional and fan point of view.

Added Experiences

Participants will have the opportunity to attend post- golf events, Player/Team meet & greet will take place week leading up to event.

Golf Break Pass

Exemplary performers will receive a "Golf Break Pass" that guarantees a LIV Golf job interview for an open position, post-program completion.

This opportunity is open to both young male & females to get behind the scenes and see how golf runs.

Our objective is to provide disadvantaged youth opportunities to explore new career paths and gain real-world work experience through our golf events.

We will run a survey pre and post-program to determine the following outcome statements.

Mentoring Series

2 x 60min Learning Sessions:

Participants will gain insights into golf from LIV Golf staff and supporting parties. Information about current roles, career paths, professional development, and advice will be shared. Attendees will be able to ask questions and find out more about the industry.

Feedback and Survey:

Participants will start and finish the mentorship program with a survey. This allows us to gain credible information  about their expectations, experience, what worked & what could be improved upon and provides them with a chance to give feedback on areas for us to improve

Volunteering

2x Days During Event: Up to 6hrs of volunteering per day across specific focus areas (fan village/hospitality etc.)

1 x Day Fan Experience: To see LIV Golf through the eyes of a consumer and have some fun.

Hands-on experience in event volunteering across a number of functions.

Insightful discussions with staff members about their career journeys.

An opportunity to experience professional golf in a way that may have otherwise been unattainable.

For those that are eligible and show interest, we also offer a guaranteed interview for a suitable role that they may apply for within LIV Golf for the following 12 months

No, there is no cost for participants. LIV Golf will cover meals and provide transportation to and from the event venue as needed. Participants will also receive LIV Golf merchandise and access to additional educational resources.

What kind of work experience will participants gain?

Participants will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of golf event management, including roles in Scoring Services, Spectator Services, Hospitality, Event Operations, and more. They will also have the opportunity to interact with professionals in the industry and attend mentorship sessions.

What is the application process?

Interested participants need to fill out the application form available on our website. The selection process includes vetting by local charity partners to ensure candidates understand the program and can commit to the 3-week duration.

How many days is the programe for?

We ask particpants to be available for at least two out of three events days, you can choose any combination of those days: Friday 26th, Saturday 27th Sunday 28th July. You can also choose your specifided hours: 9-1pm 2-6pm or 9-5pm.
