Golf for Every Child β Regardless of Background
Golf has historically been an exclusive sport. The MGA is changing that β bringing professional coaching and equipment directly into Muslim schools, removing every barrier that might prevent a child from picking up a club for the first time.
Through our schools programme, we deliver structured sessions during the school day, working with PE departments and headteachers to embed golf as part of the curriculum offer.
How It Works
Six pillars that deliver a complete grassroots golf experience for children in Muslim schools.
ποΈ In-School Coaching
PGA-qualified coaches visit partner schools to deliver structured golf sessions during the school day β no travel, no cost to families.
π Equipment Provided
All clubs, balls, and training aids are supplied by MGA. Children never need to bring a thing β we come fully equipped.
π§ Girls-First Focus
54% of children reached are girls β a deliberate effort to break down gender barriers in a sport where women are historically under-represented.
β³ Course Visits
School groups visit real golf courses β many for the very first time β experiencing the full game in an inclusive, welcoming environment.
π Inter-School Competitions
We run dedicated MGA Youth competitions that give children a taste of competitive golf in a friendly, culturally-aware setting.
π Pathway to Membership
Talented young players are fast-tracked into MGA junior membership and connected with local clubs to continue their development.
Diverse, Underserved Communities
Our partner schools serve some of the most diverse and underserved communities in the UK. Many of these children would never otherwise have the opportunity to play golf.
Girls Inspired
Words From Our Partners
The children were absolutely captivated. Many had never held a golf club before and by the end of the session they were competing to see who could hit furthest. Brilliant programme.
What MGA has done for our girlsβ confidence is remarkable. Golf felt like someone elseβs sport β not anymore. Weβve had girls asking to join local clubs after just two sessions.
We were hesitant at first β golf felt very distant from our school community. But the MGA team were incredible. Professional, inclusive, and the kids absolutely loved it. 10/10.
1,806 children. 145 sessions. One powerful mission.
Every session we deliver plants a seed. Some of these children will go on to represent Great Britain. Many more will carry a love of the sport for life.
Get Your School Involved
Weβre actively looking for new partner schools. Sessions are free, fully-equipped, and delivered by professional coaches. All you need to do is say yes.
